Vancouver the day after

Yesterday was a down day, in between games. Not to say we did not do anything. We decided to go to Grenville Island and check out the market area there. It was a long walk but we got there. We then walked around and looked at some different things, different shops. We went out for fish and chips and enjoyed our lunch time. On the way back we did not walk but rather hopped on a bus which brought us quite close to our hotel. Neither of us wanted to walk across the big bridge again. I am not afraid of heights but I do have a natural fear of falling when I am up high.

For supper we walked around a long time until we wound up at the bar right beside our hotel. It was a good walk though and we stopped at some interesting stores. Our bodies are feeling rather sore, especially the feet right now and tonight we walk to another hockey game. Vancouver against L.A.. If we win tonight we are that much closer to taking first in the division and hosting playoff games. I think we are off to see the library and to hang around and read for a low key day.

Comments:
Not afraid of heights; not afraid of falling from great heights. Am afraid of suddenly stopping falling, however.
