A New House
Well we are going to be in Kenora for a little while. We have purchased a house and we get possession of it at the end of July. It is more house than we ever expected and we never would have even tried to buy a house like this but things just came together for a purchase. It is a wonderful opportunity and we are packing already just itching to move into the new place.
On the down side just in time for the new I house, I will be laid off come September. We are doing things to prepare for that but it is a little disappointing and worrisome. I have applied for a new job but it is hard to be searching while I know I have this job to finish first. It is also a hard job to replace.
I was accepted as an occasional student (which is an upgrade from last year) into the Masters program this year. I get to choose classes a lot sooner than I did last year so that is good. I hope to take a lot more classes this year and while it may be a hard year it will cut down on the amount of time it will take to complete the program. I am still looking at a couple more years after this and that seems like forever to me.
Whenever I stop to think, to dwell just a little on these thoughts I notice that I do get a little tense, and I don't normally react much to stress. I guess there is a lot going on and a lot I can't do anything about right now. Life continues and hopefully things will start to sort out soon.

Congratulations on the new house. It always makes a person feel better, making house payments than paying rent because rent means you are usually making house payments so someone else can own the house.
