Musical tastes
I like pretty simple music. Piano love songs, heart felt acoustic guitar songs and a few rock song to get pumped up to. Sometimes it is something funny about a song (usually not meant to be funny) that catches my imagination and suddenly I'm hooked.
I found Simple Plan to be funny at first. I loved the heart felt whinney teenager sound they had. Songs like Welcome to My Life, and Thank You just seemed so melodramatic that I could not help but like them. Today I got to hear the band perform live and most of it was very enjoyable and fun. I sat through most of the openning acts but I stood through all of Simple Plan. I think my favorite part came at the second encore when the lead singer came out on his own and played one of the songs I knew with his acoustic guitar. Great sound. The whole band put on a good show.
